These incredible weekend events are open to all people from all walks of life and will take place every three months, rotating across the nine provinces of South Africa, then expanding to Southern Africa, and ultimately throughout the rest of the African continent.
Each event will have a unique theme that reflects the values and aspirations of the hosting community, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience every time, that way showcasing and sharing our humanitarian story as the African People regardless of where we are in the world.

A Warm Welcome to the Inspiring World of the Botho Awards. We are thrilled to introduce the Botho Awards, a prestigious initiative dedicated to honouring individuals who embody the spirit of humanity. Founded by Mr. N!xau Kealeboga Gift Mogapi, these awards are meant the highlight and celebrate good deeds by good human beings but above all, these awards are a project meant to create resources to help good human being continue making significant contributions to their communities.
This project is also meant to ensure that good deeds by good people should be recognised, celebrated, embraced and while they are still alive, that way, ensuring that we recognise good human beings from all walks of life. At the heart of the Botho Awards is the belief that anyone dedicated to uplifting others and demonstrating a proven track record of humanitarian principles is eligible for recognition and reward.
Derived from the Setswana word for humanity, "Botho" encapsulates the essence of our mission. We believe that true greatness is measured not by accolades or industry status, but by the profound impact one has on the lives of others. Through the nomination process, we invite communities to recognize their unsung heroes—whether it’s a neighbor, a teacher, or a dedicated volunteer—encouraging everyone to share stories of compassion and kindness.
The Visionary behind Botho Awards, Founder and Executive Chairman - Mr. Nixau Kealeboga Gift Mogapi, established Botho Awards to highlight, encourage and inspire support and a continuation of the invaluable good work of Good Human Beings whose contributions often go unnoticed. Through this initiative, N!xau aims to collaborate with those who share the same vision and have passion for creating resources that add value to these remarkable individuals and their noble deeds.
His vision is to utilise this project to raise, create, and distribute resources to humanitarian projects led by Good Human Beings, assisting them in achieving their aspirations of uplifting others and, in turn, nurturing a new generation of Good Human Beings. The world is in desperate need of Good People, just pause, close your eyes, think through what is going on in the world today and you understand how important this initiative is, how this initiative in needed now more than ever, not only by the people of South Africa, but also by the people of Africa and indeed, this initiative is also desperately needed by the people of the world.
The Botho Awards are not merely an event; they represent a movement that encourages individuals to embody kindness, compassion, and service to humanity wherever they are in the world, in their own little or gigantic manner possible. You are hereby cordially invite to join the Botho Awards Project to honour the remarkable human beings who exemplify the true meaning of Botho and inspire others to contribute to a better world for all.
Let us practice that notion of being good human being who do good things to multiply the spirit of not asking what is it that will be done for us and rather, we should offer to do for others especially those in dire need for much to be done for them. Our individual contributions will go a long way in adding value towards changing this world for the better, and to the benefit of all humanity.
We encourage Good Human Beings from all walks of life regardless of race, gender, colour, beliefs, greed, etc. to reach out to the Botho Awards to register their needs, to offer and share their contributions, and to seek and receive support for the implementation of good deeds. This platform aims to unite like-minded individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in humanity across the world. Together, we can create a network of support that fosters collaboration and amplifies the impact of our efforts until humanity is united and our world becomes a better home for all.
